CHARLOTTE, N.C. (queensathletics.com) - Queens swimming's first season as a Division I program was one filled with many firsts, as the program seemingly transitioned with out a hitch, competing against and defeating many of the nation's top programs. After a strong regular season and a record-setting performance in the CCSA conference championships, head coach Jeff Dugdale packed the buses and headed for Elkhart, Indiana for the team's final challenge of the season, the National Invitational Championship.
ATLANTA - Five CCSA Swimming and Diving programs and 20 student-athletes were recognized on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - For the First time in school history, Queens University was crowned Division I Conference Champions as the Royals tallied 933.5 points to claim the 2023 CCSA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn. The Royals won 17 events while breaking 10 meet records over the four-day event. Florida Atlantic took the Runner-Up trophy with 795.0 total points and three event wins behind Brandon Shepherd's diving and Rateb Hussein winning the 100-Yard Butterfly. Old Dominion (466.0), Gardner-Webb (443.5) and Bellarmine (301.0) rounded out the team standings.

FAU remains in second with 600.0 points while Gardner-Webb's 337.5, Old Dominion's 318.0 and Bellarmine's 3230.0 round out the team standings heading into the final day of competition on Saturday.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Thursday night marked the midway point of the CCSA Swimming & Diving Championship at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Queens extended its lead in the men's competition and broke two more CCSA relay records with a time of 1:17.57 in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay and 3:08.47 in the 400-Yard Medley Relay. Jan Delkeskamp collected the 400-Yard IM title in 3:47.81 while teammate Yannick Plasil also hit the 'B' cut time of 3:50.56 for bronze in the event and Alex Kunert set a new conference and championship record for gold in the 200-Yard Freestyle (1:34.02).
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Day one of the 2023 CCSA Swimming & Diving Championships started with records falling as Queens broke two meet records on their way to 195 total points after five events on Day One. The Royals claimed four event titles starting the night with a new Championship record in the 200-Yard Medley Relay. Alexander Bauch, Balazs Berecz, Conner Wagner and Matej Dusa finished in a time of 1:25.39 to earn gold. Another record fell to close out the night as Dusa posted a 19.20 to break the six-year meet record of 19.86. Luke Erwee (500-Yard Freestyle) and Alex Kunert (200-Yard IM).
LYNCHBURG, Va. - The 15th version of the CCSA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship wrapped up Saturday with Incarnate Word crowned as league champion after finishing with 1,046 points. This marked the fifth conference title for the Cardinals.
