Florida Atlantic's Peckmann wins CCSA Swim Honor

Charlotte, NC - Florida Atlantic secures the CCSA Swimmer of the Week Award, with Alec Peckmann taking the bragging rights for the week of January 25. Peckmann placed first in four out of five events, with the fifth event being a second place finish. His contributions would give the Owls a 178-77 win over St. Thomas last week. This is Peckmann's third CCSA Swimmer of the Week honor and the Owls fifth CCSA award overall this season. 

 

CCSA Men's Swimmer of the Week 

Alec Peckmann, Senior, York, Pa. (Penn State), Political Science

Competed in FAU’s dual meet against St. Thomas, with FAU winning 178-77

  • 50 Free / 20.72 / 1st place out of 9
  • 100 Breast / 2:05.07 / 1st place out of 8
  • 400 free relay / 3:07.29 / 1st place out of 5 / final leg
  • 200 medley relay / 1:34.37 / 2nd place out of 5 / third leg

"Peckmann was one of three Owls to record a team-high 18 points in FAU’s big victory over St. Thomas."
