CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Florida Atlantic’s Timo Paisley earned the CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors, announced Tuesday by the league office. This is the first honor for Paisley this season.

• In the Open Water National Championship 5K, he was the top finisher for FAU, placing ninth out of 83 swimmers with a time of 56:24.79. FAU finished in fifth place out of 15 teams. 

The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swim team competed in the 2022 CSCAA Open Water National Championship on Sunday morning, hosted by FIU. Competing in an intense 5K race. the men's side for the Owls ultimately tallied a fifth place finish out of 15 teams, while the women placed in 11th out of 21 teams. n a competitive field of 83 swimmers, Timo Paisley led the way for FAU, finishing in ninth place (56:24.79)
