UNC Asheville's Delaney Carlton Selected to Compete at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships
INDIANAPOLIS (uncabulldogs.com) – The NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced Wednesday that UNC Asheville's Delaney Carlton has qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. Carlton is the first Bulldog to ever qualify for the NCAA Championships. Carlton will be one of 322 participants that will compete at the Championships, which will take place March 15-18 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Flames Capture Fifth Consecutive Women's CCSA Swimming & Diving Championship Crown
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Liberty Flames turned up the heat over the final two nights of competition to hold off James Madison for the 2023 CCSA Women's Swimming and Diving Crown inside the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday. The Flames earned 1,441.5 points ahead of the Dukes 1,339.0 points. JMU finished as Championship Runner-Ups in the program's first appearance in the event. Fellow Newcomer, Queens finished third (1,119.0). FGCU (931.0) and UNC Asheville (791.0) rounded out the top five in the team race.

Liberty Leaps into Lead After Day Three of Women's CCSA Swimming & Diving Championships
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Liberty leapfrogged James Madison after the third day of the CCSA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships to lead 1,006.5 to 910.0 (JMU) in the Allan Jones Aquatics Center in Knoxville, Tenn. The Flames claimed two event victories on Friday night featuring their sixth-straight 800-Yard Freestyle Relay title to begin the night. Abbie Shaw followed that up with her second consecutive 100-Yard Backstroke gold and the seventh consecutive event title for the program.

JMU Pulls Ahead After Strong Showing on Day Two of Women's CCSA Swimming & Diving Championship
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - James Madison turned in a strong second day at the CCSA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships as the Dukes (712.5) opened up a 34.5 lead on second-place Liberty (678.0) and Day 1 leader Queens (572) in the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn. FGCU (442.0) and UNC Asheville (432.0) swap places on day two, finishing fourth and fifth at the midway point of the championships.

Royals Race Out to Early Lead at Women's CCSA Swimming & Diving Championship
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Queens made its presence known as the First Day of the 2023 CCSA Swimming & Diving Championships wrapped up in the Allan Jones Aquatic Center at the University of Tennessee. The Royals who are making their transition to DI look seamless racked up 315 points to lead after four events. Four-time defending Champion, Liberty is in second with 256 points and closely followed by newcomer James Madison with 255 points.
