On June 20 of 2011, Pam Stackhouse was hired as the Associate Director of Athletics at Bellarmine University. Her primary role consists of overseeing all of BU's intercollegiate athletic sports.  She also serves as the advisor to the student-athlete advisory committee and is Bellarmine's designated senior woman administrator. 

Stackhouse came to Bellarmine after serving eight years in the University of Kentucky athletics office, including the past four in the role of assistant athletic director for women's basketball. Prior to moving into the assistant AD role, Stackhouse served Kentucky four years as assistant women's basketball coach and director of camps.

Before going to UK, Stackhouse was an assistant coach for Purdue's women's basketball team for seven years, helping the Boilermakers capture the 1999 national crown and four Big 10 championships. She also served a year as an assistant coach at Louisiana Tech during the 1995-96 season when the Lady Techsters were 31-2. In 12 years as an assistant coach, Stackhouse compiled a remarkable 312-113 record (73.4 winning percentage).

Stackhouse began her professional career in athletics as the assistant director of the athletic academic center at Louisiana Tech, from which she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees.
