SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. – The No. 1 TCU beach volleyball team ended their regular season with a program best, 31-1, record. The Horned Frogs racked up two more ranked victories over No. 19 Pepperdine, 5-0, and No. 4 Florida State, 3-2, to close out the Center of Effort Challenge in San Luis Obispo, California.
 
The Horned Frogs tallied a new program high 23 season sweeps. TCU also claimed their seventh ranked sweep of the season.
 
Three Frogs delivered perfect 4-0 weekends: Daniela Alvarez, Hailey Hamlett and Tania Moreno.
 
QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 19 PEPPERDINE:

• Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno scored the first point of the dual in straight sets from the No. 1 position: 21-13, 21-12.
• The pairing claimed their 27^th victory of the season.
• The duo tallied their 13th ranked victory this season.
• Alvarez notched her 30^th win of the season and Moreno her 27^th.
• Rochelle Scott and Hailey Brockett took the next point for TCU with their straight set victory at No. 5: 21-17, 21-14.

• Khmil improved to 26-2 this season and Privett to 28-3.
• Sutton MacTavish and Hailey Hamlett tallied the fourth consecutive point in straight sets at No. 3: 21-15, 21-16.
• This is the duo's second appearance and victory.
• MacTavish improved her individual record to 24-6 and Hamlett to 22-2.
• Maria Gonzalez and Ana Vergara secured the sweep in a three setter from the No. 4 position: 21-18, 15-21, 15-11.
• The duo took the sand together for the first time since last season.
• Gonzalez improved her individual record to 24-3 and Vergara to 23-4.
• The Frogs showcased their strength winning 10-of-11 sets played.
• The Frogs improved to 3-5 all time against the Waves.

 
QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 4 FLORIDA STATE:

• Maria Gonzalez and Ana Vergara took the first point of the dual for the Horned Frogs from the No. 4 position in straight sets: 21-17, 21-14.
• The pairing improved their record to 2-0 this season.
• Gonzalez improved to 25-3 this season and Vergara to 24-4.
• Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno claimed the second consecutive point, giving the Frogs an early 2-0 lead from the No. 1 position: 21-14, 21-17.
• The duo notched their 14^th ranked victory of the season.
• The pairing improved to 28-1 this season.
• Alvarez tallied her 31^st win of the season and Moreno her 28^th.
• After dropping the next two points to the Seminoles, it all came down to Sutton MacTavish and Hailey Hamlett.
• The duo secured the TCU victory in a nail-biting third set from the No. 3 position: 22-20, 15-21, 22-20.
• The pairing claimed their third victory of the season.
