MIAMI – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded the second and final day of the TYR Fall Classic, hosted by Florida International University. The last meet day on Saturday morning saw four individual first place finishes for the Owls and 17 total finishes in the top three. For the entire meet, both the men's and women's team finished second in total points in their field, with the women scoring 483 points and the men scoring 475.
  Men

• The men completed the meet in second place out of six teams with a score of 475
• Dalton Lillibridge earned the win in the 200 breast (2:04.07)
• Alec Peckmann won the 200 IM with a time of 1:51.33
• Logan Thornsberry captured second in the 500 free (4:40.74)
• Rateb Hussein finished in second place in the 200 fly (1:52.93)
• Max Ahumada placed third in the 200 back (1:55.20)
• Jackson Kirk swam to a third-place finish in the 100 yard (46.25)
• The 400 medley relay 'A' team (Hussein, Kirk, Peckmann, Thornsberry) saw the men finish second in the 400 free relay (3:03.85)
• In the 200 medley relay, the 'A' team (Ahumada, Lillibridge, Hussein, Payne Smith) finished second with a time of 1:33

Women

• The women finished second out of six teams with a score of 483
• Amelia Robertson won an event for the second meet in a row, capturing first in the 200 back (2:04.58)
• Dolores Margni captured first place in the 200 fly (2:04.67)
• Kasia Szlek earned second place in the 500 free (5:13.32)
• Avery Floyd placed in second in the 200 breast (2:24.47)
• Alicia Mora's score of 282.98 in the 3 meter dive was good for second place
• Roberta Circi finished in third place in the 200 IM (2:14)
• The women's 'A' team (Mary Adam, Circi, Lydia Lanahan, Robertson) came in second place in the 200 medley relay (1:47.85)
• In the 400 medley relay 'A' team (Julia Earnshaw, Lanahan, Margni, Szlek) finished in second (3:33.19) 

The Owls will welcome back alumni on homecoming weekend for their annual Alumni & Family Meet, to be held on Saturday Oct. 15 at 11 A.M.
