GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swim team concluded a three-day weekend at the Toyota U.S. Open on Saturday. The Owls had six athletes from four different countries competing against many schools and some of the best swimmers in the world. The weekend was highlighted by
Rateb Hussein (Egypt) qualifying for the 'B' final in the 100 fly with a time of 54.28.

- Roberta Circi (Italy) kicked off the action in the 200 IM, finishing with a time of 2:21.48Â
- Hussein's time in the 100 fly (54.28) qualified him for the 'B' final, where he finished with a time of 54.37
- Dalton Lillibridge (United States) tallied a time of 1:04.29 in the 100 breast
- Timo Paisley (United States) finished the 200 free with a time of 1:53.69
- Amelia Robertson (England) logged a time of 1:04.3 in the 100 back
- Hussein finished with a time of 51.58 in the 100 free
- Dolores Margni (Italy) recorded a time of 2:22.92 in the 200 fly
The Owls are next set to compete in Miami at the Open Water National Championship, to be held on Dec. 18
