FORT WORTH – No. 1 TCU beach volleyball (12-0) charted another perfect weekend to remain undefeated on the season. The Horned Frogs downed Southern Miss, 5-0 and picked up another win over No. 4 LSU, 4-1, to close out a stellar home opener.
The two wins stretch their home winning streak to 32 straight dating back to March 6, 2020. The sweep of Southern Miss was the 10
th of the season for the Horned Frogs. TCU showcased its strength this weekend, winning 40-of-47 sets played.
QUICK HITS AGAINST Southern Miss:

Rochelle Scott and
Hailey Brockett scored the first point of the day with their straight-set victory from the No. 5 position: 21-11, 21-12.
• The duo collected their fifth victory as a pairing this season.
• Brockett improved her season record to 7-0 and Scott to 11-0.

Maria Gonzalez and
Josie Sek took the next point for the Frogs from the No. 4 position: 21-5, 21-19.
• This is the pairings first appearance and victory as a duo.
• Gonzalez notched her 11th victory of the season and Sek her second.

• Privett notched her 10th victory of the season and Khmil her 10

Ana Vergara secured the sweep for the Frogs in a two-set victory from the No. 2 position: 21-18, 21-17.
• The duo tallied their first victory together this season and their first since the AVCA pairs tournament.
• MacTavish improved her record this season to 10-1 and Vergara remained unbeaten at 9-0.
• TCU stayed perfect against Southern Miss, 6-0.

Hailey Brockett took the second point for the Frogs in a thrilling three-setter from the No. 4 position: 21-19, 14-21, 15-9.

Anhelina Khmil clinched the TCU victory in a straight setter at the No. 3 position: 21-16, 21-11.

Tania Moreno claimed the fourth point with a two-set victory at the No. 3 position: 19-21, 21-9, 15-13.

• The pairing tallied their 11th straight victory.
• TCU went 3-0 in three-set matches against LSU.
• The Horned Frogs improved to 5-9 all-time against the Tigers.
