COLUMBIA, S.C. - North Florida women's swimming continued to show improved times and even record marks on the penultimate day of the Gamecock Invitational by producing six top ten times as well as a school record.
Victoria Torres highlighted the strong day, swimming a program-record time in the 100 breast at 1:03.87, breaking Francesca Vandersluis' mark of 1:03.98, set all the way back Nov. 20, 2016 at the Panther Invitational.
Freshmen
Claire Kerber,
Faith Mutschler and
Aydan Horrigan all added program top-ten times.
By the end of the day's competition, the Ospreys accounted for 33 personal bests among individual and split times.

- Torres broke the school record for the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.87
- Torres now holds the first and third fastest times for the 100 yard breaststroke
- Kerber swam the fifth fastest 100 yard butterfly in program history while tying Ashley Cozad for the seventh fastest 100 yard butterfly in the preliminaries
- Mutschler nabbed her third top ten times in two days notching the eighth fastest 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:51.54
- Horrigan recorded the tenth fastest 400 IM in program history, finishing in 4:30.00
- The Ospreys produced seven top 15 times during the evening's finals

The third and final day of the Gamecock Invitational will continue tomorrow with preliminaries at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 4:00 p.m. Events featured in prelims will be the: 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 1650 free.
The finals will take place at 4 p.m. and will include the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 400 free relay.
