CCSA ANNOUNCES WOMEN’S SWIMMER AND DIVER OF THE WEEK

Charlotte, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Campbell’s Angelica Ragazzoni collect’s her first Swimmer of the Week Honors in the CCSA, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Campbell vs Gardner-Webb 

100 back – 1^st – 56.87 

200 back – 1^st – 2:04.46 

400 Free Relay – 1^st – 1^st leg – 53.71 split 

Campbell took down Gardner-Webb 135-129 Friday evening. Campbell took first place in half of the 14 events on the night, including both relays to bookend the match. Ragazonni took the win in the 100 back, posting a first-place time of 56.87. Ragazonni would later win the 200 back in 2:04.46. She later picked up her third win of the evening as part of the 400 free relay to finish the night that posted a total time of 3:32.61.

Campbell vs UNC Asheville 

400 Medley Relay – 2^nd – 1^st leg – 57.63 split 

50 back – 2^nd – 27.30 

50 free – 4^th – 24.93 

200 free relay – 2^nd – 2^nd leg – 24.32 split 

Campbell fell to UNC Asheville 190-72 in the second meet but that didn’t stop Ragazzoni from trying her best to keep the Camels in the fight. She went 2nd in the 50 back with a time of 27.30.
