LYNCHBURG, Va. - The 15th version of the CCSA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship wrapped up Saturday Liberty being crowned as league champion after finishing with 1,830.50 points. This marked the fourth consecutive conference title for the Flames and the program's fifth overall.
The FGCU duo of Tori Czarnecka and Petra Halmai shared the Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Championship honor while the Eagles' Reese Wakefield and Flames' Maddie Freece were both tabbed Most Outstanding Diver of the Championship. The Most Outstanding Freshman Performer nod went to Liberty's Sydney Stricklin. Liberty coaches Jack Shellenberger and Andrew Helmich were named Swimming Coach of the Meet and Diving Coach of the Meet, respectively.

The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) is a progressive NCAA Division I conference dedicated to the enhancement of opportunities for students. The conference was founded in 2008 to provide a championship opportunity for Swimming and Diving student-athletes and extended that opportunity with the addition of Beach Volleyball in the summer of 2015. The league's footprint extends into several states: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. The CCSA is dedicated to the student-athletes who compete in its championships and their success in the classroom, in the field of competition, and life after graduation.
