LYNCHBURG, Va. - With the third day of the 2022 CCSA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship in the books, Liberty is still leading the field with 1,479.50 points. FGCU is currently in second with 1,164 points while UNC Asheville's 1,064.50 rounds out the top three heading into the final day of competition on Saturday.

Incarnate Word sits in fourth with 745 points followed by Campbell (5th) and Georgia Southern (6th) with 653.50 and 616 points, respectively. Gardner-Webb is in seventh with 448.50 points, North Florida is in eighth with 409.50 points and Bellarmine finished the day in ninth with 315.50 points.

The 2022 edition marks the 15th championship for the CCSA in Women's Swimming and Diving and the third time the event has been hosted by Liberty.


The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) is a progressive NCAA Division I conference dedicated to the enhancement of opportunities for students. The conference was founded in 2008 to provide a championship opportunity for Swimming and Diving student-athletes and extended that opportunity with the addition of Beach Volleyball in the summer of 2015. The league's footprint extends into several states: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. The CCSA is dedicated to the student-athletes who compete in its championships and their success in the classroom, in the field of competition, and life after graduation.
