CCSA Announces Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week - Nov. 5

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  FGCU’s Petra Halmai earned her second straight CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors while teammate Reese Wakefield also earned her second straight CCSA Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office. This is the second overall honor for Halmai while this is Wakefield’s third time being honored this season.

-  Grabbed top honors in the 400 IM (New NCAA B Cut Time) and 200 Fly
-  Helped her team to a second place finishes in the 200 and 400 medley relays
-  Took second in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast, and 200 IM

CCSA Diver of the Week
Reese Wakefield, FGCU
Freshman | Guelph, Ontario, Canada
-  Third CCSA Diver of the Week honor this season; third FGCU honor athlete diver of the week honor this season
- Grabbed top honors in the 3m dive with a score of 313.50 (13 points shy of school record)
- Took second place in 1m dive
