CCSA Announces Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week - Oct. 15

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Campbell's Maddie Baiotto earned the CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors while Liberty's Abigail Egolf-Jensen was named the CCSA Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office. This is Campbell's second consecutive week earning Swimmer of the Week while Liberty captures its first honor this season.

-First CCSA Swimmer of the Week honor this season

-Placed first in the 50 butterfly (25.72) and the 100 butterfly (56.54) Friday night vs Liberty

-Helped the team to a first place standing in the 200-freestyle relay (24.18 leg) and second place in the 200-medley relay (25.65 fly leg) Friday

-Earned a first-place finish in the 100-fly (58.32) and second in the 200-fly (2:09.69) Saturday vs UNC Asheville

-Helped Campbell placed first in two relays: 200-free relay (1:37.41 overall); 400-medley relay (3:59.72 overall) Saturday

 

CCSA Diver of the Week

-First CCSA Diver of the Week honor this season

-Placed second in the one-meter dive (234.35) Saturday at UNCW

-Her score of 234.35 in the one-meter is her top result in the event this season

-Achieved second in the three-meter dive (241.30) Saturday

-The 241.30 score is her best the three-meter dive this season
