CCSA Announces Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week - Jan. 29

Charlotte, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Florida Gulf Coast senior Christina Elmgreen (Charlottenlund, Denmark) has been named the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season, the CCSA announced Tuesday. Liberty's Olivia Robinson (Friendswood, Texas) is the Women's Diver of the Week also for the second time this season for meets contested Jan. 21-27.

Elmgreen totaled a team-best 16 points last Saturday at FIU. She took the 100 fly in 56.57 and claimed second in the 200 fly with a time of 2:05.90. Elmgreen also placed third in the 200 IM after a finish of 2:08.83.

Robinson helped lead the Lady Flames to wins over Campbell and Marshall last weekend. She won the platform dive with a score of 200.25, which was 4.57 points ahead of the second place finish. Robinson also placed second in the 1-meter dive with 259.88 points. Then in the 3-meter, she secured a third place finish with 245.70 points.

Also nominated for Swimmer of the Week: Hannah Kendall (Campbell), Mariann Ruvalcaba Cruz (Incarnate Word) and Payton Keiner (Liberty).

Also nominated for Diver of the Week: Margot Kessler (Florida Gulf Coast) and Valencia McDonald (Incarnate Word).
