Charlotte, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Liberty freshman Gianni Pitto (Lodi, Calif.) has been named the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season, the CCSA announced Tuesday. Florida Gulf Coast sophomore Megan Wakefield (Guelph, Ontario, Canada) earned the Women's Diver of the Week honor for meets contested Jan. 14-20.

Pitto continued her dominant freshman season with three individual wins and a relay victory in Liberty's 136-129 victory at conference foe UNC Asheville. She claimed titles in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.81) and 200 breaststroke (2:20.32), and then edged out a win in the 200 IM by 1.15 seconds (2:08.60). Pitto also swam a leg of 29.79 in her team's 200 medley relay, which won with a time of 1:46.21.
