CCSA Announces Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week - Jan. 3

Charlotte, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Florida Gulf Coast junior Cassidy Fry (Oakwood, Ohio) has been named the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week for meets contested Dec. 17-30. Senior teammate Margot Kessler (Boca Raton, Fla.) has been named the Women's Diver of the Week, the CCSA announced Thursday.

Fry won the 100 butterfly (56.01) against UNC Asheville, which was also her fastest dual meet time of the season. She also contributed to the winning 200 Free Relay with her leg of 24.18, and placed second in the 100 (53.86) and 200 freestyle (1:59.15).

Kessler placed second on the 1-meter dive against UNC Asheville. Her score of 210.97 was the best of her collegiate career and marked her highest finish ever on the 1-meter board.
