CHARLOTTE, N.C. – FAU’s Rateb Hussein earned CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors while teammate Logan Downey was named the CCSA Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office. This is the fourth honor for Hussein this season and the third honor for Downey.
CCSA Swimmer of the Week

- Fourth CCSA Swimmer of the Week Award and the fourth time FAU has been honored
- Set meet and school records in the 100 Fly (47.31), 200 Fly (1:45.74), and the 400 Medley Relay (47.19 split)
- Helped FAU set a Patriot Invitational meet record in the 800 Free Relay with an overall time of 6:38.18
- Grabbed second place in the 100 Free (44.34) and an third place in the 50 Free (20.49)
CCSA Diver of the Week
Logan Downey, FAU
Junior | Plantation, Fla.
- Third CCSA Diver of the Week honor and the fifth time being honored for FAU
- Grabbed first place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 347.05 (50 points above second) and also a NCAA Zone qualifying score
- Scored a fourth place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 287.75
