CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Gardner-Webb sophomore Cullen Fields (Marietta, Ga.) has been named the CCSA Men's Swimmer of the Week for meets contested Oct. 1-7, the CCSA announced Tuesday.
Fields had two first-place finishes and one second-place finish in three individual swims versus Catawba last Friday. In the 200-yard backstroke, he clocked in at a season-best 1:57.33 for the first place finish. Fields also placed first in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:56.70, and second in the 100-yard butterfly at 53.31.
