ATLANTA – TCU's No. 1 duo of Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno earned CCSA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday. The Horned Frog pair went 4-0 on the week including the match point in the Frogs' upset victory over fellow league member No. 2 Florida State (21-15, 21-15). The pair also topped 10th-ranked Georgia State's No. 1 pair (21-19, 21-14), FGCU and Tampa at the Tampa Invitational. Alvarez and Moreno helped TCU improve to 8-0 to begin the season and earned the first No. 1 national ranking in program history.

- Fourth Career CCSA Pair of the Week for Alvarez & Moreno pairing; fifth weekly award for the TCU program
- Posted a perfect 4-0 record at the Tampa Invitational including ranked victories over No. 2 Florida State and No. 10 Georgia State
- Claimed the match point in the upset bid over fellow league member Seminoles in straight sets (21-15, 21-15) on Court 1
- Defeated GSU No. 1 Pair (21-19, 21-14), FGCU No. 1 Pair (21-15, 21-12) and Tampa No. 1 Pair (21-11, 21-16) on the week
- Vaulted the Horned Frogs to No. 1 in the AVCA Poll for the first time in program history; hosts the Horned Frog Challenge next (March 10-11)

The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) is a progressive NCAA Division I conference dedicated to the enhancement of opportunities for students. The conference was founded in 2008 to provide a championship opportunity for Swimming and Diving student-athletes and extended that opportunity with the addition of Beach Volleyball in the summer of 2015. The league's footprint extends into several states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. The CCSA is dedicated to the student-athletes who compete in its championships and their success in the classroom, in the field of competition, and life after graduation.
