Fort Worth (gofrogs.com) – The TCU beach volleyball team (8-0) made history, earning the No. 1 ranking from AVCA Coaches Poll and CollegeBeachVB.com.
The Horned Frogs previous highest ranking had been No. 2, which they held for six consecutive weeks (Mar. 22- Apr. 26) during the 2022 season.
The team is coming off a stellar weekend in Tampa, Fla. where they picked up two top-10 victories against No. 2 Florida State and No. 10 Georgia State.
The victory over No. 2 FSU marked the fourth win TCU has collected over the Seminoles and the first win against a conference team this season.
The Horned Frogs showcased their talent this past weekend, winning 40 out of the 43 sets played this weekend.
Five Frogs delivered a perfect 4-0 weekend which included: Daniela Alvarez, Maria Gonzalez, Hailey Hamlett, Tania Moreno and Rochelle Scott.

The Horned Frogs return to Fort Worth for the Horned Frog Challenge this weekend, March 10-11. They will open up against Texas A&M University - Kingsville.
The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) is a progressive NCAA Division I conference dedicated to the enhancement of opportunities for students. The conference was founded in 2008 to provide a championship opportunity for Swimming and Diving student-athletes and extended that opportunity with the addition of Beach Volleyball in the summer of 2015. The league's footprint extends into several states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. The CCSA is dedicated to the student-athletes who compete in its championships and their success in the classroom, in the field of competition, and life after graduation.
