ATLANTA – Grand Canyon duo Abbie Hughes and Samaya Morin posted a 4-0 week on Court 2 to become the program' first-ever CCSA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week, announced Wednesday by the league office. The Antelopes' pairing earned four straight-set wins against ranked opponents in #4 USC and #14 Long Beach en route to their undefeated start this season while also besting Concordia and CSUN opponents in the opening tournament.

- Began the season 4-0 this weekend in SoCal. on Court 2 against No. 4 USC, No. 14 Long Beach, Concordia & CSUN
- Won all matches in straight sets including final tallies of 21-19, 21-11 against Long Beach and 21-19, 21-12 versus the Trojans
- Defeated Concordia and CSUN opponents by scores of 21-11, 21-12 and 21-16, 21-8, respectively
- Will be back in the sand with the Lopes at the Tampa Classic to play No. 2 Florida State, No. 11 Stetson, Georgia State and Tampa (March 3-4)

The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) is a progressive NCAA Division I conference dedicated to the enhancement of opportunities for students. The conference was founded in 2008 to provide a championship opportunity for Swimming and Diving student-athletes and extended that opportunity with the addition of Beach Volleyball in the summer of 2015. The league's footprint extends into several states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. The CCSA is dedicated to the student-athletes who compete in its championships and their success in the classroom, in the field of competition, and life after graduation.
