ATLANTA, Ga. – After leading impressive showings at the competitive East Meets West Invitational in Manhattan Beach, Calif., Federica Frasca & Margherita Bianchin of FIU, as well as Sara Putt & Payton Caffrey of Florida State take home this week's CCSA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week honors announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Frasca and Bianchin went 3-1 last week out in Manhattan Beach, Calif., as they picked up wins over #1 UCLA, #3 Pepperdine and #5 Hawaii. The pair's only loss went the full three sets against the #2 ranked USC Trojans. The were the only FIU pair to gain a win over the defending national champs in UCLA. The Italian pair hold an 8-1 record on the year and a 55-14 career mark.
FSU's Putt and Caffrey went 5-1 last week in their trip out to the Golden State. They grabbed wins over #8 Long Beach State and #2 USC on Thurday evening, as a tune up to the East Meets West Invitational. They followed that performance up with victories against #1 UCLA, #3 Pepperdine and #5 Hawaii. As a team, the Seminoles went 3-3 last weekend helping them jump to #3 in this week's AVCA poll.

- Putt & Caffrey were the only Florida State pair to defeat UCLA all weekend
- The 'Noles are the highest ranked CCSA squad this week as the come in at #3 in the AVCA poll
