2019 CCSA Beach Volleyball Schedule

ATLANTA, Ga. - The 2019 CCSA Beach Volleyball season opens up on Friday, as 10 of the conference's 12 programs are in action. Four of the CCSA top squads, #3 Florida State, #7 LSU, #8 South Carolina and #18 Tulane, all take part at the Tallahassee State Capitol Invite. FAU hosts the Paradise at the Burrow, which features fellow CCSA member and newcomer TCU. 

#10 FIU and #13 Georgia State travel to DeLand, Fla. to participate at the Stetson Spring Fling, where #17 Stetson will be the host. Southern Miss plays the program's first-ever match on Friday when they take on Coastal Carolina at the Spring Hill Invite in Mobile, Ala. UAB will host the Blazer Beach Bash this weekend, where they will play North Alabama, UL-Monroe and Jacksonville State.

College of Charleston Cougars (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @CofCVolleyball
- The Cougars open up the 2019 campaign on March 1st when they particpate at the North Florida Inviatational
- Kennedy Madison returns this season for College of Charleston. Madison won 16 games for CofC last season with wins over four ranked opponents

#20 FAU Owls (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @FAUBEACHTeam
- The Owls debut at 20th in the AVCA Preseason Poll. FAU opens the season on Friday, Feb. 22nd, as the host the Paradise at the Burrow
- FAU returns the pair of Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris this season. They teamed up to with 25 games last year, 20 of them coming in straight sets

#10 FIU Panthers (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @FIUVolleyball 
- FIU rolled in at 10th on the AVCA Preseason Poll. The Panthers open the season up on Friday, Feb. 22nd when they participate at the Stetson Spring Fling
- Margherita Bianchin & Federica Frasca earned Preseason All-Conference honors. Last year, they went 27-8 and were one of six No. 1 pairs nationally to win 25 games or more

#3 Florida State Seminoles (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @FSU_BeachVB
- The defending CCSA Champs came in at #3 in the preseason poll. The 'Noles went 33-7 in 2018 and finished National Runner-Up
- FSU placed a conference-best four players on the Preseason All-Conference Team. They open the season this weekend at the Tallahassee State Capitol Invite

#13 Georgia State Panthers (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @GSUBeachVB
- Georgia State starts the 2019 season on Friday, Feb. 22nd when they play at the Stetson Spring Fling
- The Panthers earnd on player on the Preseason All-Conference team in Brooke Weiner. Weiner owned a 26-10 record at the No. 2 position for GSU

#7 LSU Tigers (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @LSUBeachVB
- After winning 27 games and making the NCAA Championships in 2018, LSU opens the 2019 season on Saturday at the Tallahassee State Capitol Invite 
- The Bayou Bengals return the reigning CCSA Pair of the Year in Kristen Nuss & Claire Coppola. Both earned Preseason honors, while Nuss was Preseason Player of the Year

#9 South Carolina Gamecocks (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @GamecockBeachVB
- The Gamecocks won 24 games in 2018 and qualified for the NCAA Championships. They open the season at the Tallahassee State Capitol Invite
- South Carolina landed one player on the Preseason All-Conference Squad in Katie Smith. She won 25 games in 2018, which rank fourth most in program single-season history

Southern Miss Golden Eagles (0-0) - Follow @SouthernMissVB
- Southern Miss plays the program's first-ever game on Friday when they take on Coastal Carolina at the Spring Hill Invite in Mobile, Ala. 
- Stephanie Radecki takes over the helm of the Golden Eagles. She comes from North Alabama where she built a national power at the Division II level

#19 TCU Horned Frogs (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @TCUBeachVB
- TCU begins their first season as a CCSA member when they battle at the Paradise at the Burrow in Boca Raton, Fla. 
- Haven Hill won 12 games last season, with 11 of the 12 wins coming out of the No. 1 position

#18 Tulane Green Wave (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @GreenWaveBeach
- Tulane won 23 games in 2018 and come in ranked 18th in the AVCA Preseason Poll. They open the season on Saturday at the Tallahassee State Capitol Invite
- Kaylie McHugh was one of the best players in the CCSA last season, winning 30 games and collecting CCSA All-Conference and AVCA All-American honors

UAB Blazers (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @UAB_BVB
- UAB looks to build off an eight win campaign in 2018, which featured a win over No. 8 South Carolina. They open the season on Friday when they host the Blazer Beach Bash
- Kenley Adams won 11 games for the Blazers last season out of the No. 1 position, with wins over ranked opponents such as South Carolina, FIU and Tulane

UNC Wilmington Seahawks (0-0; 0-0) - Follow @UNCWBeachVB
- UNC Wilmington opens up the 2019 campaign on March 1st when they take part of the North Florida Invite
- Maddy Kline is the top returner for the Seahawks, as she won 15 games out of the No. 1 spot in 2018
