Wilmington, N.C. – Campbell fell to both UNCW and Georgia Tech at Saturday's tri-meet hosted by UNCW. Campbell fell to the Seahawks 235-58, and fell 244.5-49.5 to the Yellow Jackets.
 
Laura Lopez continued her hot start to the season by winning the 100 back with a time of 56.92. Lopez later finished second in the 200 back, clocking in at 2:03.30. The freshman accounted for each of Campbell's top finishes in the day.
 
Meredith Ashburn turned in a good showing with a sixth-place finish in the 50 free in 24.54, a new season high.
 
Campbell's meet initially scheduled for next week at Florida Gulf Coast has been canceled as the Fort Meyers, Fla. area continues to recover from Hurricane Ian. The Camels' next action will now be Oct. 21 at Gardner-Webb.
